A beautiful light room where Children are encouraged through free
and structured activities to develop as individuals preparing them
for life in the Rainbow room and eventually school. Teddys is a large
play room with a book area themed on one of the Childrens' favourite
books - "The Very Hungry Caterpiller",

A cosy story corner where they can enjoy listening to stories and sing their favourite songs and nursery rhymes. We also introduce the basic phonic letter through stories and song.
In our home area we have our very own mini sofa and kitchen along with dressing - up clothes. The Children also enjoy taking part in lots of activities experimenting with paint, glue, dough and various craft materials etc.
The work on basic shapes, colours and numbers are
developed through fun activities. A Child - height sink
within the room helps to encourage independence.
Low toilets and sinks in the bathroom make the
transition from nappies to potty and toilet a
Individual sleep beds and bedding are
provided for a nap after lunch. Older Children not requiring a sleep can enjoy stories and quiet activities. This is also a time when these Children might visit the Rainbow Room in order to aid their eventual transition to becoming a Rainbow.
